She was a member of a highly regarded Green Co., KY family, and was a resident of Adair Co, KY, at the the time of her death

Mrs. Ruby Louise Cox Lobb,73, Glensfork, KY, formerly of Greensburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010, in Louisville, KY, at Baptist Hospital East.

The funeral service for Mrs. Ruby Louise Cox Lobb will be conducted Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at 1pmCT, at the Greensburg Church of the Nazarene, 31 Bluebird LN, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow the Wilson Cemetery in Summersville, Green Co., KY. The family requests visitation from 4-9pmCT, Tuesday, September 14, and from 7am-10am Wednesday, September 15, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY and after 11amCT, on Wednesday at the church.



Ruby Louise Cox Lobb, Green Co., KY native (1937-2010)

Ruby Louise Cox Lobb was born May 31, 1937 and died September 11, 2010, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 73 years, 3 months, and 11 days.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters and one son and their spouses: Linda and Benny Montgomery, Greensburg, KY; Donna and Jason Hogue of Elizabethtown, KY; Micharel and Brandy Lobb of Campbellsville, KY; and Cindy and Rev. Jay Damron of Glensfork, KY

  • a brother: Randall Cox of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters: Margaret Wilbur, Campbellsville, Ky and Debbie Gunter, Bradfordsville, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Eleven great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
