Lorine Cox, 87, of Campbellsville, KY died at 5:25amET, Friday, September 3, 2010 in Campbellsville, KY

Funeral services will be at 4pmET/3pmCT, Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. Ivan Jones and Rev. Eugene Smith. Burial will be Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY.



Pallbearers: Terry M. Dabney, Greg Druin, Ricky Lile, Hiestand Parrish, Johnnie Pennington, and Ray Wiser

Lorine Cox, Taylor Co., KY (1923 - 2010)

Lorine Cox was the daughter of the late Robert Perkins and Zella Bottoms Perkins. She was born July 11, 1923, in Taylor Co., KY, and died in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, Friday, September 3, 2010, at the age of 87 years, 1 months, and 23 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church.

She united in marriage to Will Howard Cox October 10, 1942. He preceded her in death December 24, 2001.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Carolyn Minor of Campbellsville, KY

  • One granddaughter: Gail Minor Bryant of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two brothers and one sister: Hallie Cox of Campbellsville, KY; Frank Perkins of Louisville, KY; and Jerry Perkins of Hodgenville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lindsey Perkins.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
