Obituary: Mrs. Janrose Rapier, 65, Green Co., KY

She was a member of a large, respected Green Co., KY, family. She leaves 26 direct living descendants

Mrs. Janrose Rapier, age 65 of Greensburg, passed away early Sunday morning, August 29, 2010 in Greensburg, KY at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital.

The funeral service for Mrs. Janrose Rapier, will be conducted Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at 10amCT, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3pm-9pmCT, Tuesday, August 31, 2010.



Mrs. Janrose Rapier, Green Co., KY (1944-2010)

Mrs. Janrose Rapier was born December 16, 1944 and died August 29, 2010, in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, at the age of 65 years, 8 months, and 13 days.

Survivors include her husband, John Richard Rapier of Greensburg, KY, and the following:
  • Four sons and three daughters in law: Hank and Ginger Rapier, Estell and Sheila Rapier, Scott and Jean Rapier and Jason Rapier, all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two daughters and sons in law: Nova and Lee DeGarmo of Corbin and Heather and Kevin Moss of Greensburg, KY

  • Two brothers: Donnie Logan of Barbourville, KY and Freddie Logan of Corbin, KY

  • Eighteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends
The family requests that donations be made to the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home for burial expenses.
