Driver, passenger charged after injury crash in Marion Co By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY MARION CO., KY - Trooper Ricky Underwood of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY is investigating a single vehicle injury collision that occurred on KY 208, 7 miles south of Lebanon, KY.George Rakes Jr., age 38 of Lebanon was operating a 1984 Dodge pickup when he lost control of the vehicle and struck an embankment. A passenger, Elizabeth Tungate of Campbellsville, KY, was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication.Rakes was treated and released from Springview Hospital in Lebanon, KY, and was charged with driving under the influence, no insurance, no operators license, and open alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle where prohibited. Trooper Underwood was assisted at the scene by Sgt. Greg Brown, Marion County Fire and EMS.
