Obituary: Gerald Francis Lawler, 59, Green Co., KY

He was an electrical engineer for the Bluegrass Electrical Co. He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and was of the Catholic faith

Mr. Gerald Francis Lawler, 59, of the Mell Community of Green Co., KY, departed this life on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at his home.

The family chose cremation and there will be a memorial visitation only from 3-5pmCT, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST., Greensburg, KY.



Mr. Gerald Francis Lawler, Green Co., KY (1950-2010)

Mr. Gerald Francis Lawler of the Mell Community of Green Co., KY, son of the late John Joseph Lawler and Jean Frances MacDonald Lawler, was born, Tuesday, December 5, 1950 in Orange Co., NJ and departed this life on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at his home. He was 59 years, six months and 29 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Catholic Faith. He was an Electrical Engineer for the Bluegrass Electrical Company. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Air Force.

He united in marriage to Carol Beard on November 22, 1986 who survives.

Other survivors include the following:
  • A daughter: Melissa Carol Baton of Whitehouse, TN

  • A son: Kenneth Lewis Jolly of Leesburg, VA

  • Four brothers: John Lawler of Florida, Rob Lawler, Dan Lawler and Jeffrey Lawler all of New Jersey

  • Three grandchildren

  • One great-grandchild

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
