Obituary: Nellie B. Lawson, 68, Russell Co., KY

Mrs. Lawson was a member of a respected Russell Co. family and of the Salem United Baptist Church. She was a sales clerk at K-Mart

Nellie B. Lawson, 68, Hwy 910, Russell Springs, KY, died Friday, July 2, 2010, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.The funeral service will be Saturday, July 3, 2010, at 2pmCT, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Elder Larold Gosser officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery in Russell Co., KY. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Saturday, July 3, 2010, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Olis Hart, Jeff Wilson, Paul Wilson, Castle Wade, Arvin Wilson, and John Gosser.

Nellie B. Lawson, Russell Co., KY (1941-2010)

She was the daughter of the late Tina Perkins McBeath and Floren McBeath. She was born in Russell Co., KY, September 24, 1941, and died at Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, on Friday, July 2, 2010, at the age of 68 years, 9 months, and 8 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Lawson.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Rick Lawson and Jeff Lawson, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Eric Lawson and Chandler Lawson

  • One brother: Eldon (Dene) McBeath, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters: Eva Wooldridge and Betty (Carl) Benson, both of Russell Springs, KY
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Herlon, and Claude McBeath.

She was a sales clerk at K-Mart in Russell Springs, KY, and was a member of the Salem United Baptist Church.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
