Obituary: Rick Taylor, 51, Burkesville, KY

He was a member of a respected Cumberland County family and was a member of the Living Word Assembly of God. He was a landscaper.

Rick Taylor, age 51, of Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the Norton Hospice Inpatient Unit in Louisville, KY.

Memorial service will be Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 4pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. Burkesville, KY. Visitation 2pm -4pmCT, Saturday, June 22, 2010, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.



Rick Taylor, Cumberland Co., KY (1959-2010)

He was born on Saturday, April 18, 1959 in Quonset Point, Rhode Island, to Buford Taylor and Jane Moons Collins. He was a member of Living Word Assembly of God and was a landscaper. He passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 51 years, 2 months, and 4 days.Survivors include the following:
  • His mother: Jane Collins and her husband Merrill of Burkesville, KY

  • His father: Buford Taylor of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sons: Steven Kyle Taylor of Burkesville, KY and Anthony David Taylor of Louisville, KY

  • Two daughters: Jessica Taylor of Cleveland, TN and Brittany Doom of Louisville, KY

  • Two half-sisters: Beth Everley of Burkesville, KY and Crystal Whiteson of Portland, TN

  • Three grandchildren: Riley, Blake, and Elijah

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
