Obituary: Ruby Floyd, 79, Casey Co., KY

She was a member of a respected Northeast Casey Co, KY family and of the Madeira Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Proctor and Gamble

Ruby Floyd, 79, Cincinnati, OH, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, in Cincinnati, OH.

Funeral services will be at 1pmET/noon CT, Thursday June 17, 2010, at the Bartle Funeral Home, 231 Lynn ST, Middleburg, KY, with Rev. Chris Dalton the officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Middleburg Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon ET/11 am CT, at Bartle Funeral Home, Middleburg, KY.



Ruby Lucas Floyd, Casey Co., KY (1931-2010)

Ruby Lucas Floyd was the daughter of the late Herman Lucas and Mae Simpson Lucas. She was born Tuesday, April 14, 1931, in Middleburg, Casey Co., KY, and died Sunday, June 13, 2010, in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at the age of 79 years, 1 month, and 30 days.

She was a retired employee of Proctor and Gamble and was a member of Maderia Baptist Chuch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph G. Floyd:She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Jared and Marion Floyd, both of Cincinnati, OH

  • Two daughters: Nancy Mueller, DeLand, FL, and Carol Floyd, Cincinnati, OH

  • Two brothers: William Lucas, Memphis, TN; and Charles Lucas, Middleburg, KY

  • One sister: Madelle Stafford, Danville, KY
She was preceded in death by an infant son and one sister, Ruth Smith.

Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
