Obituary: Enola Vest, 85, Casey Co., KY

She was a member of a large, respected Casey family. She leaves 46 direct living descendants. She was a retired employee of Cincinnati Die Casting and was a member of New Testament Church

Enola Vest, 85 Liberty, KY, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at her residence.

The funeral service will be at 2pmET/1pmCT, Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, with Rev. Clifton Cowan officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11amET/10, Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Visitation will be at 11amET/10amCT, at the funeral home.




Pallbearers: Rodney and Steve Calhoun, Chris Richardson, Gary Peyton, Michael Vest, and Robert Pittman.

Enola Vest, 85, Casey Co., KY (1925-2010)

Enola Vest, 85, was the daughter of the late Arthur Pittman and Myrtle Hatter Pittman. She was born June 7, 1925, in Casey County, KY, and died Sunday, June 13, 2010, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY at the age of 85 years and 6 days.

She was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Cincinnati Die Casting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Vest.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Mona Richardson, Hope Metz, and Linda Vest, all of Liberty, KY

  • Two sons: Danny and Michael Vest, both of Liberty, KY

  • Fifteen grandchildren

  • Twenty great grandchildren

  • Six great great grandchildren

  • Two brothers: Haskel Pittman, Liberty, KY; and Lewis Pittman, OH
She was preceded in death by two sons, James and Kenneth Vest, one grandson, one great grandson, two sisters, Ada Godbey and Evelyn Music; and three brothers, Corbitt, James, and Sylvanus Pittman.

Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangments.
