John Paul Mason, 62, Lantern Way, Jamestown, KY, died Friday, June 11, 2010, at his residence.

Cremation has been chosen with a memorial service to be held at a later date.



John Paul Mason, 62, Russell Co., KY

He was born Friday, October 24, 1947, in Wyandotte, Wayne Co., Michigan. He was the son of the late Mary Elizabeth Brophy and Harold Eugene Mason. He died Friday, June 11, 2010, in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 62 years, 7 months, and 18 days.

He was a hard rock gold miner and landscaper.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three brothers: James Arnold Mason, Lincoln, CA; David Michael Mason, New Smyrna Beach, FL; and Daniel Mark Mason, N. San Juan, CA

  • Two sisters: Mary Sarah Bishop, Dallas, GA; and Susan Anteau, Jamestown, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews
Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
