James Robert Atkinson, 43, of Candace Street, Campbellsville, KY, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY, after an illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11amET/10amCT, Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at First Baptist Church, 704 East Broadway ST, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. The family requests visitation after 5pmET/4pmCT, Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home and after 9amET/8amCT, Wednesday at the church.



James Robert Atkinson, Taylor Co., KY (1966-2010)

James Robert Atkins was born December 8, 1966, and died Thursday, May 27, 2010, in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY at the age of 43 years, 5 months, and 27 days.

He is survived by the following:
  • His children: Jamar LaShaun Atkinson, Chanson Janoah Atkinson, Javontae Rashawn Atkinson, Jametria LaShae Atkinson, all of Campbellsville, KY
  • His parents, George and Mary Atkinson of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother and sister-in-law: George Anthony and Sandy Atkinson and two sisters, Deborah Ann Atkinson and Lorenda Michelle Allen all of Campbellsville, KY.
Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home, 503 East Main ST, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
