Obituary: Marvin (Cocky) Cochran, 66, Casey Co., KY

Mr. Cochran was a member of a large, respected Casey County family. He was a truck driver

Marvin "Cocky" Cochran, 66, Liberty, KY, died Monday, May 24, 2010, at the Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, withy Bro. Shirley Denson officiating. Burial will be in the Tapscott Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30pm-9pmET/4:30pm-8pmET, Wednesday, May 26, 2010, and after 8amET/7amCT on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at the funeral Home



Pallbearers: Adam Ford, Kevin and Tyler Cochran, Tyler Lynn, Travis Wilson, Jake Atwood, and Josh Bright.

Marvin "Cocky" Cochran, Casey Co., KY (1944-2010)

Marvin "Cocky" Cochran was the son of the late George Roe Cochran and Bessie Sharp Cochran. He was born in Casey Co., KY, on Sunday, April 16, 1944, and died in Liberty, Casey Co., Ky, on Monday, May 24, 2010, at the age of 66 years, 1 month, and 8 days.

He was a truck driver.

He is survived by the following:
  • One daughter, Carla Atwood, Liberty, KY

  • Two sons: Rodney and Donnie Cochran, both of, Liberty, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • One great grandchild

  • Three sisters: Cleo Coffman, Louisville, KY; abd Bernice Luttrell and Carol Anderson, both of Paxton, IL;

  • Four brothers: Lowell Cochran, Mooresville, IN; Paul Cochran, Stanford, KY; Donald Lee Cochran, Libery, KY; and Garland Cochran, Bradfordsville, KY
Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
