He was a member of the Word of God Church and was an employee of Burnside Marina

John D. Wilson, 54, Old Pine Top RD, Columbia, KY, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

The funeral service will be Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 1pmCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Herl D. Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gosser Ridge, Russell Co., KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at the funeral home.



John D. Wilson, Russell Co, KY (1955-2010)

John D. Wilson was the son of the late Rettie Roy Wilson and Otha Lee Wilson. He was born in New Castle, Henry County, IN, on Monday, December 19, 1955, and died Saturday, May 22, 2010, in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY, at the age of 54 years, 5 months, and 3 days.

He was a member of the Word of God Church in Russell Springs, KY, and was a maintenance worker at Burnside Marina on Lake Cumberland, KY.

He is survived by his fiance', Margaret Robertson, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Jason Wilson, Alabama

  • One granddaughter: Trinity Wilson, Florida

  • Two brothers: Kenneth (Joyce) Wilson, Russell Springs, KY; and Robert (Susie) Wilson, Carthage, IN

  • One sister: Debbie Wilson, Russell Springs, KY
He was preceded in death by a son, Alan DeWayne Wilson; two brothers, Donald and Dorman Wilson; and three sisters, Sylvia White, Joan Carter, and Marie Janes.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
