She attended Tallow Creek United Methodist Church in Taylor Co., KY

JoAnn Williams Burress, 70, of Mannsville, KY, died at 6:05am, Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Greensburg, Green Co., KY.

Funeral services will be at 1pmET/12 noon CT, Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Colin McDaniel. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Kenneth "Biggen" Burress. Jr.; Cash Barry Derringer, Johnny Pennington, Kevin Derringer, Terry Kuprion, Jerry Sherrill, and Dale Spurling.

JoAnn Williams Burress, Taylor Co., KY (1940-2010)

JoAnn Williams Burress of Mannsville, KY daughter of the late Robert "Bob" Williams and Lillie "Mae" Gabehart Williams, was born in Taylor Co,, KY, April 6, 1940. She died at 6:05am, Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Greensburg, Green Co., KY at the age of 70 years, 1 month, and 10 days.

She attended Tallow Creek United Methodist Church.

She united in marriage to Charles Burress on April 6, 1962.

Besides her husband, Charles Burress of Mannsville, KY, she is survived by the following:
  • Two children: Jenise (Monroe) Sherrill of Mannsville, KY, and Kenneth "Biggen" (Kristi) Burress of Campbellsville, KY

  • A special granddaughter: Georgia Cash of Mannsville, KY; and two other grandchildren, Kendall and Trey of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two great-grandchildren: Courtney and Cory Bottoms

  • Two sisters: Jean Richardson and Geneva Kuprion of Louisville, KY

  • And several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Wayne Burress in infancy; four sisters and six brothers: Esther "Josie" Benningfield, Crystal Dailey, Ellen Wallace, Jane Gaddis, Harmon Williams, Manuel Williams, Robert Williams, Arlie Haynes, Chelsie Williams and Hensley "Blackie" Williams.

The familly requests expressions of sympathy be donations to the Family Fund and may be made at the funeral home.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
