Obituary: Theresa Milby, 58, Campbellsville, KY

She was member of a respected Taylor Co., KY family. She was a member Calvary Baptist Church and was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY

Theresa Milby, 58, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 6:35amET, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Campbellsville.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Gary Wagner, Jr. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Highway, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Billly Grider, Doug Holmes, Jr.; Bobby Landis, Jeff Marr, John Michael Milby, Jordan Milby, and Adam Smith.

Honrorary pallbearers: Nieces and nephews.

Theresa Milby, Taylor Co., KY (1952-2010)

Theresa Milby of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Homer Lee Jacobs and Loretta Elsie Thompson Jacobs, was born in Jefferson County, KY, Sunday, February 3, 1952. She died at 6:35amET, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 58 years, 2 months, and 25 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to Mike Milby, Sr. November 2, 1966.

Besides her husband, Mike Milby, Sr. of Campbellsville, KY, she is survived by the following:
  • A son and daughter-in-law: Mike, Jr. and Kathy Milby of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Jordan Milby, John Michael Milby and Shara Milby of Campbellsville, KY

  • A great-grandson: C. J. Milby

  • Two step-grandchildren

  • One step-great-granddaughter

  • Two brothers and three sisters: David Jacobs, Brenda Holmes and Linda Baker of Campbellsville, KY; Mary Fox of Louisville, KY; and Homer Jacobs of Somerset, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Wayne Milby, April 24, 2002, and two sisters: Shirley Gibbs and Naomi Allen.

Family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to the headstone fund and may be made at the funeral home.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
