The funeral services for Mr. Lured Jones were conducted at 1pmCT, on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Landon Hadley and Bro. Joseph Wilcoxson officiated. Mr. Lured Jones, Metcalfe Co., KY (1923-2010) Mr. Lured Jones, son of the late Alfred and Lanora Ellen Estes Jones, was born on January 17, 1923 in Metcalfe County and departed this life on Wednesday, Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Metcalfe County Health Care Center, Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY. He was 87 years, three months and 6 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a retired farmer. He united in marriage to Eugenia Nell Clark who preceded him in death on September 18, 1964. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: JoAnn and Ernest Price of Greensburg, KY; and Jeanette Whitlow of Edmonton, KY
