She was a highly regarded citizen of Campbellsville, KY, and was the wife of Billy Joe Breeding, formerly of Adair Co., KY. She was the former owner of Floy's Specialty Shop in Campbellsville and was a member of the First United Methodist Church

Rosalene Burress Breeding, 86, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 7:15pmET, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral Services for Rosalene Burress Breeding will be at 11amET/10amCT, Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Paul W. Patton and Dr. Ted Beam. Entombment will be in Brookside Mauseleum, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8pmET/4-7pmCT, Friday, April 16, 2010, at the funeral home.



Rosalene Burress Breeding, 86, Taylor Co., KY (1923-2010)

Rosalene Burress Breeding of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Lambreth V. "Buck" Burress and Floy Hogan Burress Alexander, was born in Taylor Co., KY, April 15, 1923. She died at 7:15pmET, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY at the age of 86 years, 11 months, and 30 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
BR>She was the former owner and operator of Floy's Specialty Shop.

She united in marriage to Billy Joe Breeding June 14, 1942.

Besides her husband, Billy Joe Breeding of Campbellsville, KY, she is survived by the following:
  • A son-in-law, Hugh "Tuddy" Howell and his wife, Faye of Campbellsville, KY

  • One grandson and one granddaughter: Bill Howell and wife, Kim of Prospect, KY; and Michelle Ellis and husband, Richard of Springfield, TN

  • Four great-grandchildren: Amber Ellis, Ricky Ellis, Ryan Howell and Kate Howell

  • A brother, Carter Lee Burress of Pine Bluff, AR

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Breeding Howell, July 19, 2001 and a sister, Barbara Fite.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
