Jason Riggs of Bardstown, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, KY,died at 7:01amET,, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in Bardstown, KY.

Funeral services are at 11amET/10, Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. Earl Rodgers. Visitation is after 5pmET/4pmCT, Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, with burial in Jesus Name Church Cemetery.



Pallbearers are Russell Akenbrandt, Jared Correct, Jason Jordan, Austin Pruitt, Gerald Richard, Gerald Smith, Benean Woosley. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Bell, Kenny Graham, Jeremy Holmes, Israel Slinker, and Adam Webb.

Jason Riggs, (1981 - 2010)

Jason Riggs of Bardstown, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, son of the Timothy Riggs and Susan Hagge Riggs, was born in Taylor County, KY, Friday, September 18, 1981. He died at 7:01amET, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in Bardstown, Nelson Co., KY, at the age of 28 years, 6 months, and 26 days.

He was employed by Orbis Corporation in Bardstown in the maintenance department.

He is survived by the following:
  • His parents: Timothy and Susan Riggs of Campbellsville, KY

  • His sister: Kathy Riggs Parker of Campbellsville, KY

  • Special niece: Kaitlyn King of Campbellsville, KY

  • Nieces and nephew: Brennan Parker, Mallory Parker and Mellany Parker of Campbellsville, KY

  • Special friend: Rachel Downey of Bardstown, KY

  • Paternal grandparents, Orval and Mary Riggs of Campbellsville, KY

  • And many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leora and Elwood Hagge.

Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
