Obituary: Milton Shofner, 75, Taylor Co., KY

Milton Shofner, age 75, of Smith Ridge RD, Campbellsville, KY, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at his residence after an illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pmET/12 noon CT, Thursday April 15, 2010 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home, 503 E. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY, with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. The Family request visitation 5-8PM, Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the funeral home.



Milton Shofner, 75, Taylor Co., KY (1934-2010)

Milton Shofner was born October 20, 1934 and died in Campbellsville, Taylor Co, KY, on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at the age of 75 years, 7 months, and 24 days.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Shofner, of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • Three sons and daughters in law: Howard Lewis and Linda Shofner, Steven Thomas and Tonya Shofner both of Green Co., KY,, and John Milton and April Shofner of Taylor Co., KY

  • Two daughters and sons in law: Caffee Lane and David Patterson of Green Co., KY; and Sandra and Keith Walker of Lawrenceburg, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Two step-grandchildren

  • Two brothers: Bonnie Reed Shofner and Randell Joe Shofner both of Green Co., KY

  • One sister: Linda Marcum, Green Co. KY
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be given to Hosparus of Central Kentucky and may be made at the funeral home.

Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home, 503 E. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
