She was a native of Adair County, KY

Rose Hunn Rogers, age 90, of Campbellsville, KY died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Grandview Nursing Home after an illness.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30amET/9:30amCT, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Brookside Cemetery, W. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY.

Rose Hunn Rogers, Taylor Co., KY (1919-2010)

She was a native of Adair Co., KY, the daughter of the late George and Laura Mae Smith. She was born Wednesday, December 17, 1919, and died Sunday, April 11, 2010, in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 90 years, 3 months, and 25 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chatman Rogers, in November, 1961, and one grandson Gary Rogers.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons and daughter-in-law: Carl "Spot" Rogers of Scottsville, KY; Ed and Gretchen Rogers of Greensburg, KY; and David L. Rogers of Campbellsville, KY

  • one daughter and son-in-law: Elsie Rogers & Bobby Miller, Jr. of Campbellsville, KY

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren
There will be no visitation.

Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home, 503 E. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
