Bands will hold Old Time Social April 17, 2010 at ACES Starting a new season with a call for great Pie, Cake and Chili makers to help a great cause By Shamarie Claiborne The Adair County Marching Band's first fundraiser of the new season, an Old Time Social, is Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 6pmCT, in the gym at the Adair County Elementary School (ACES), 870 Indian DR, Columbia, KY. There will be homemade Chili created by some of the best chefs in the county (band moms of course) followed by a Pie and Cake Auction. The chili supper cost is a donation of your choosing. Our goal is to have at least 50 different pies and cakes to auction that night so if you would like to donate something please call Shamarie Claiborne (270) 250-3809 or Leslie Murrell (270) 634-1605. It is always fun and exciting to see whose cake or pie brings the highest bid. This story was posted on 2010-04-10 09:32:05
