Obituary: Harvey Miracle Bartle, 84, Liberty, KY

Mr. Bartle was the head of a prominent Casey Co., KY family. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a former owner of Bartle Funeral Home, and a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church.

Harvey Miracle Bartle, 84, Liberty, KY, died Friday, April 9, 2010, at his home.

The funeral service will be at 11amET/10amCT, Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at the Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, with Rev. Bruce Lee officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9pmET/4-8pmCT, at Bartle Funeral Home.



Harvey Miracle Bartle, Casey Co., KY (1925-2010)

Harvey Miracle Bartle was the son of the late Auda Miracle Bartle and Charles Harvey Bartle. He was born Sunday, June 21, 1925, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, and died Friday, April 9, 2010, in Liberty, KY at the age of 84 years, 9 months, and 19 days.

He was the former owner of Bartle Funeral Home.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ewing Bartle, and the following:
  • One son: Billy J. Bartle, Liberty, KY

  • Three daughters: Janice Hughes, Frankfort, KY; Betty Bartle Clark, Liberty, KY; and Sarah Christian of Liberty, KY

  • Stepchildren: Beth Haynes, Tampa, FL; Frankie Posey II, Liberty, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren

  • Seven step grandchildren

  • One sister: Mary Douglas Murphy, Gosport, IN

  • One brother: Rolland Bartle, Mt. Healthy, OH
Memorials are suggestd to Liberty United Mission Fund or Gideons International.

Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, is in charge of arrangements.
