She was a native of Cumberland Co., KY and a member of a prominent Adair Co., KY family. She was a member of the Columbia Christian Church and was an employee of Sign America, Columbia, KY

Saskia "Sas" Riddle Nuszbaum, age 36, of Fairplay, KY, passed away suddenly, Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room in Columbia, KY

The funeral service is Friday March 12, 2010 at 11amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY with Bro. Terry White the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Burkesville Cemetery, Burkesville, KY. The family request visiting after 4pmCT on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at the funeral home.



Saskia "Sas" Riddle Nuszbaum, Adair Co., KY (1973-2010)

She was born in Cumberland County, KY on Monday, December 3, 1973, and died Monday, March 8, 2010, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 36 years, 3 months, and 5 days.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Stewart Riddle on September 3, 1998; Her maternal grandparents: J.O. and Olene Burchette Brown and father in law: John NuszbaumTo mourn her passing are the following:
  • Children: McCoy Isacc Houston Nuszbaum, Jolene Pearl Nuszbaum, Jonathan Nuszbaum, Jessica Nuszbaum, Tessa Prim all of Columbia, KY

  • Husband: Tim Nuszbaum of Columbia, KY

  • Her mother: Diann Brown Baise and husband Jay of Glasgow, KY

  • One brother: Stewart Riddle and wife Sheri of Lebanon, TN

  • Paternal grandparents: K. I. and Maxine Riddle of Columbia, KY

  • One niece: Hannah Riddle of Lebanon, TN

  • One aunt: Debra Brown Craig of Albany, KY

  • One uncle: J.O. "Buddy" Brown of Edmonton, KY

  • Her mother in law: Mary Nuszbaum of Albany, KY

  • A great aunt: Josephine Moore of Round Rock, TX
Sas was a member of the Columbia Christian Church and was an employee of Sign America in Columbia, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the trust fund for the children of Saskia Sas Riddle Nuszbaum and may be left at the funeral home.
