Obituary, Robert McAninch, 71, Waynesburg, KY

Robert McAninch, 71, Waynesburg, KY,died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmET/Noon CT, Friday, March 12, 2010, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, with Rev. Chris Dalton the officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Salyers Cemetery. Visitation will from 6pmET/5pmCT to 9pmET/8pmCT, Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Bartle Funeral Home.



Pallbearers will be Billy, Jimmy, and Andrew Elliott; Brad Johnson, Larry Phelps, and Sam Phillips.

Robert McAninch, Waynesburg, KY (1938-2010)

Robert McAninch was the son of the late Joseph McAninch and Mary Pitman McAninch. He was born Wednesday, March 30, 1938 in McKinney, KY, and died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, in Harrodsburg, Mercer Co., KY at the age of 71 years, 11 months, and 7 days.

Mr. McAninch was a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Elliott McAninch, and the following:
  • Two sons: Estill Lewis McAninch and Steven Ray McAninch, both of Kings Mountain, KY

  • One daughter: Bobbie Ann Phelps, Kings Mountain, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren

  • One brother: Jerry McAninch, Danville, KY
He was preceded in death by three grandchildren.

Bartle Funeral Home, Liberty, KY, is in charge of arrangement
