Obituary: Kayson Lane Morrison, 9 months, Columbia, KY

Infant was a member of a large, respected Adair Co., KY family

Kayson Lane Morrison, 9 month old son of Sarah Akin and Coy Morrison, Jr., Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 9:13pmCT, at Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room, Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Rocky Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery, 225 Prices Creek Road , Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, March 5, 2010, at the funeral home.



Besides his parents, Kayson is survived by the following:
  • One sister: Callie Morrison

  • One brother: Jamison Ford

  • His grandparents: Coy Morrison, Sr., Russell Springs, KY; Chris Morrison and Stanley "Pa Butch" Coomer, Columbia, KY

  • Great grandparents: Finley and Reba Akin, Columbia, KY; and Arlene Smalley, Sandwich, IL

  • One cousin: Cody Morrison

  • One uncle: Bobby Morrison

  • One great-uncle and three great-aunts: Ray Morrison, Janice Dulworth, Ann and Ricky Dial, and Sharon and Rocky Morrison

  • Special friends: Tara Corbin, Ronnie Dial, Hannah Young, Lee Ann Roy, Misty and Anglea Robinson, Sherry Allin, and Tiffany and Dustin Alley
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Michael and Rochelle Akin.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
