She was a member of a large, respected Russell County, KY family

Lillie B. George, 85, Jamestown, KY, died Sunday, February 21, 2010, at 12:25amCT, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral service will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT, Tuesday, February 23, 2010, with Pastor Frank Scott officiating. Burial will be in Rexroat Cemetery, Jamestown, KY. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.



Lillie B. George, Russell Co., KY (1925-2010)

Lillie B. George was the daughter of the late William Bell and Izora Brummett Bell. She was born at Jamestown, Russell County on Thursday, January 29, 1925 and died in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, on Sunday, February 21, 2010, at the age of 85 years, 3 weeks, and 2 days.

She was a homemaker.
  • Two sons: Everett Snow and Ed Snow, both of Jamestown, KY

  • Three daughters: Lillian Pierce and Joyce Pierce, both of Jamestown, KY; and Shirley Allgood, Louisville, KY

  • Fourteen grandchildren

  • Fourteen great grandchildren
  • She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Bell and John Bell; and two sisters, Lois Burchett and Nannie Warriner.

    H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
