Obituary: Emanuel Wooten, 93, Russell Co., KY

He was a farmer and a member of a large, respected Russell Co. family.

Mr. Emanuel Wooten, 93, Jamestown, died at 4:35amCT, Friday, February 12, 2010, at Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The religious service will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 North Main ST, Jamestown, KY, at 2:00pmCT on Monday, February 15, 2010, with Bro. Jamie McCormack and Rev. Gene Sneed officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Cemetery, Jamestown, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Sunday, February 14, 2010, at the funeral home.



Emanuel Wooten, 93, Russell Co., KY (1916-2010)

Emanuel Wooten was the son of the late Asa and Vina (Bunch) Wooten. He was born in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY Ky on Friday, July 20, 1916, and died on Friday, February 12, 2010, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 93 years, 6 months, and 23 days.

He was a farmer.

He was the husband of Dollie (Jones) Wooten, who survives. He is further survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Juanita Lee of Campbellsville, KY; and Rosetta Russell of Noblesville, IN

  • Four sons: Randall Wooten of Russell Springs, KY; Asa Wooten of Jamestown, KY: Kenneth Wooten of Russell Springs, KY; and Bobby Wooten of Columbia, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • And ten10 great grandchildren
H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY, was in charge of arrangements.
