Obituary: Dorothy Bernard, 88, Russell Springs, KY She was a homemaker, a member of a large, respected Russell Co., KY, family and of the Russell Springs Main Street Church of God. Dorothy Bernard, 88, Creelsboro RD, Russell Springs, KY, died Friday, January 22, 2010, at Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY. The funeral service was held Monday, January 25, 2010, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Adron Wheat and Rev. Frank Scott the officiating clergy and special music by Donna Willis and Chris Willis. Burial was in the Hale Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Wheat, Ernie Bell, Mike Boyer, Darrell West, Jackie West, Timmy Antle, Dwayne West, and Larry West. Dorothy West Bernard, Russell Co., KY (1921-2010) Dorothy West Bernard was the daughter of the late Marie Stephens West and Edd West. She was born Sunday, November 20, 1921, in Russell Co., KY and died Friday, January 22, 2010, at Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 88 years, 2 months, and 2 days. Mrs. Bernard was a homemaker and a member of the Russell Springs Main Street Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Bernard, and also by a daughter, Sharon Nell Murray; two brothers, Londo West and Arlo West; and four sisters, Leona Smith, Zeona Shepherd, Lola Rexroat, and Lora Harvey.
