Obituary: Thomasine Tarrance, 65, formerly of Adair Co., KY

She was a member of a respected South Adair Co., KY family. She was retired from K-mart and was of the Baptist faith

Thomasine Tarrance, 65, Louisville, Ky. formerly of theSparksville community in Adair Co. KY, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010, at 2:07pm at Norton Hospital Hosparus Inpatient in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Lonny Karnes officiating. Interment will be in Sparksville Baptist Church, 9401 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY, Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Sunday, January 24, 2010, until the time of the funeral.



Thomasine Patton Tarrance, Adair Co. native (1944-2010)

She was the daughter of the late Jack and Wanda Gowen Patton of Adair Co., KY. She was born in Adair Co., KY, Thursday, September 7, 1944, and died Friday, January 22, 2010, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY at the age of 65 years, 4 months, and 15 days.She was retired from K-mart and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Dwayne Patton, Louisville, KY

  • One sister: Darlene Sulzer of Louisville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Brittany, Kayla, and Brianna

  • Special friend Kathy Anderson of Louisville,KY
  • And several nieces, nephews, host of other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by one brother Mike Patton on November 4, 2008.
