Obituary: Arlus (Johnny) Whittle, 84, Russell Co., KY Mr. Whittle was a member of a respected Russell Co., KY, family and was a farmer Arlus "Johnny" Whittle, 84, McQueary Ridge RD, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, January 16, 2010, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY. The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Laura Harris the officiating clergy. Special music will be by Lyle and Della Rexroat and Doyle Rexroat. Burial will be in the Coffey's Chapel Cemetery in Russell Co., KY. Pallbearers will be Gary Holt, Arlee wilson, Donald Stamper, Ronnie Lee Whittle, John David Hale, Ryan Stephens, and Steve McBeath. Arlus "Johnny" Whittle, Russell Co., KY (1925-2010) Arlus "Johnn" Whittle was the son of the late Mae Meadow Whitttle and Otha Whittle. He born Monday, December 7, 1925 and died Saturday, January 16, 2010, in Russell Springs, KY, at the age of 84 years, 1 month, and 9 days. Mr. Whittle was a farmer.He is survived by his wife, Sylba Whittle, and the following:
