Obituary: Judith Wilson Blevins, 69, Taylor Co., KY

Judith Wilson Blevins, 69, Taylor Co., KY, died at 10:00amCT, Saturday, January 16, 2010m in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 4pmET/3pmCT, Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. B.C. Gillispie and Rev. Don Watson. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery on W. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers are Barry Blevins, Mark Clark, Chris Moore, Matt Norton, John Toy, Rob Toy, and Wesley Toy.

Judith Wilson Blevins, Taylor Co., KY (1940-2010)

Judith Wilson Blevins of Campbellsville, KY, formerly of Lexington, KY daughter of the late James E. Wilson and Hilda Stinson Wilson, was born Monday, May 13, 1940, in Nashville, Tennessee. She died at 10:00amCT, Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Campbellsville, KY at the age of 69 years, 8 months, and 3 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Ivan G. Blevins, of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • A son: John D. Moore and wife, Leslie of Birmingham, AL

  • Two daughters: Julie Moore Toy and husband, Rob of Charlotte, North Carolina and Laura Blevins-Clark and husband, Mark of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Casey Guajardo, John Toy, Wesley Toy, Melissa Moore, Christopher Moore, and Mary Jordan Moore

  • One sister: Brenda Wilson Stone and husband, Jim of Goshen, KY,

  • And a niece, Amanda Stone Norton
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was known to many for her kindness.She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Blevins Beams, July 3, 2004.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
