Obituary: Larry Gerald Burton, Sr., 64, Adair Co., KY, native

He had deep roots in Adair County, with 57 Adair County-born first cousins

Larry Gerald Burton, Sr., 64, Liberty Township, OH, passed from this world on January 10, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 13 with service at 11amET, Thursday, January 14, 2010, at Living Word MB Church, 8369 Princeton RD, Liberty Township, OH.



Larry was from a large Adair County Burton family with deep roots in Kentucky, being the grandson of Lucian Blane and Martha Etta Belle Redmon Burton.

Larry had 57 first cousins just from his Burton side who were born in Adair County. His Uncle Gilbert Ray Burton still resides on the Adair Co., KY farm where their father; Lucian was born on in 1885.

He was born in Adair Co. KY in 1945, and is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Hallie Simpson Burton.

Larry is survived by his wife, Maxine Burton and his son; Larry (Sharon) Burton, Jr.; and daughter; Belinda (Steve) Ridener.

He was the proud Grandfather of Sean, Kayla, Brady, and Jenna and the loving brother of Alvie Lee, Lonnie, Jackie (Louise), Lorena, and Wanda.

His is also survived by two caring Uncles; Gilbert Ray Burton and Kyle Burton and one Aunt; Alta Burton Cook, all of Adair Co., KY
