Obituary: Elbert Nolley, 66, Taylor Co., KY native

He was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and was a former employee of Enro Shirt Comapny and retired after several years work with Pepboys

Elbert Nolley, 66, of Louisville, KY died at 12:16amET, Saturday, December 26, 2009, in Louisville, KY

Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pmET, Monday, December 28, 2009. Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at 7pmET/6pmCT, Monday, December 28, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY.



Elbert Nolley, 66, Taylor Co., KY (1943-2009)

Elbert Nolley of Louisville, son of the late Hulet Nolley and Ermine Benningfield Nolley, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, October 30, 1943. He died at 12:16amET, Saturday, December 26, 2009, in Louisville, KY, at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 26 days.

He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He worked many years for Enro Shirt Company and retired after several years work from Pepboys.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Heather Nolley Vogel and husband, Jason of Louisville, KY; and Courtney Nolley of Mt. Washington, KY

  • One grandson: Cailen Nolley of Mt. Washington,KY

  • Two brothers: Charles Nolley and Jimmy Nolley of Campbellsville,KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Jana Nolley Bellinger, Elwood Nolley, and Ingram Carter Nolley.
