Obituary: Ronnie Gaskin, 55, formerly of Adair Co., KY

He was a member of a respected South Adair Co., KY family and of the Evangel Prayer Center. He was employed by GE Appliance Park in Louisville, KY

Ronnie Gaskin, age 55 years, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Columbia, KY,passed away Monday, December 7, 2009 at 8:14am at University ofLouisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service is Friday, December 11, 2009 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Pastor Randy Parnell and Bro. Ronnie Janes the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery, 8147 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 9:30amCT on Friday, December 11, 2009.



Ronnie Gaskin, formerly of Adair Co., KY (1953-2009)

He was born on Dec. 31, 1953. He was the son of the late Melvin Gaskin his mother Regina Janes French of the Sparksville Community, Columbia, Ky. who survives, and died on Monday, December 7, 2009, in Louisville, KY at the age of 55 years, 11 months, and 6 days.

Besides his mother he is survived by his wife Michelle Carpenter Gaskin of Louisville, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Faith Ann Bishop and husband David of Louisville, KY

  • One son: Eric Gaskin of Louisville, KY

  • One step-daughter: Tonya Combs of Louisville, KY

  • Two brothers: Gary Estes of Campbellsville, KY and Elivs Gaskin ofEdinburgh, IN

  • Four grandchildren

  • And nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
He was a member of the Evangel Prayer Center in Louisville and was employed at GE Appliance Park in Louisville, KY.
