Obituary: David Lee Wheeler, 61, Taylor Co., KY

Mr. Wheeler wasw an automobile mechanic and a member of the Sunny Hill Church of Christ

David Lee Wheeler, 61, died Monday, November 23, 2009 in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Minister Steve Lee.



David Lee Wheeler, Taylor Co., KY (1948-2009)

David Lee Wheeler of Campbellsville, son of the late Frank Leslie Wheeler, Sr. and Ada Cooley Wheeler, was born April 6, 1948, in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 10:22amET, Monday, November 23, 2009 in Louisville, KY at the age of 61 years, 7 months, and 17 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Sunny Hill Church of Christ.

He had been an automobile mechanic for forty years.

He united in marriage to Frances Huckaby May 10, 1969.

Besides his wife, Frances Wheeler, he is survived by the following:
  • One son, Keith Wheeler, Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother:Tommy Wheeler, Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister-in-law, Maryvene Wheeler,, Campbellsville, KY
  • And several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters: Frank (Junior) Wheeler, Frances Crews, Elsie Crews, and Aletha Sallee.

    Expressions of sympathy should take the form of donations to the funeral expenses and may be made at the funeral home.
