FUNERAL POSTPONED. The funeral originally scheduled for 11amET/10amCT, Wednesday, November 18, 2009, has been POSTPONED. An announcement of the new time and date is expected later.

Adam Bowen, 30, Campbellsville, KY, died Sunday, November 15, 2009, in Hart Co., KY, as the result of an automobile accident.

The funeral service will be at 11amET/10amCT, Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Brian Rafferty. Burial will be in the 3678 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers are Jamie Antle, Adam Bottoms, Nicky Davis, Corey Harrison K.J. Johnson, Todd Polston, Marcus Rucker, and Derek Underwood. Honorary Pallbearers are David Absher, Kevin Agee, Jeremy Bowen, Ronnie Hord, Buddy Kirtley, Mitch Overstreet, Greg Rucker, and Rick Wilson.

Adam Bowen, Taylor Co., KY (1979-2009)

Adam Bowen of Campbellsville, KY, son of Cathy Mills House and Gary Bowen, was born May 20, 1979 in Taylor Co., Kentucky. He died at 3:47am, Sunday, November 15, 2009 in Hart Co., Kentucky, as a result of an automobile accident, at the age of 30 years, 5 months, and 26 days.

He professed faith in Christ and attended ElkHorn Baptist Church.

He was an employee of H & W Sports Shop.

He is survived by the following:
  • His mother and step-father: Cathy and Jimmy House of Campbellsville, KY; and father and step-mother, Gary and Josephine Bowen of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters: Lori Antle and husband Jamie and Tiffany Bowen of Campbellsville, KY

  • Maternal grandmother: Rosetta Mills of Campbellsville, KY

  • Paternal grandmother: Bernice Bowen Cox of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two nieces and one nephew: Caley James, Bailee Antle and Jackson Antle of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several aunts and uncles and many other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by one sister, Kelli Jo Bowen May 16, 1980, and his grandfathers, Lewis Bowen April 5, 1994 and Dock Mills July 11, 2007.
