Obituary: Ginger Renae Beard, 40, Hardin Co., KY

She was a native of Biloxi, MS and had worked at Hardin Memorial Hospital for 18 years. She was the granddaughter of Emma Bardin Childress and the late Thelbert and Myrtle Jessee and Davis Beard all of Columbia, Adair Co., KY

Ginger Renae Beard, age 40 years, of Elizabethtown, Ky. died Thursday,October 27, 2009 at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service Friday, October 30, 2009 at 2:00pmCT at Brown Funeral Home306 College St. in Elizabethtown, KY, with Rev. Donnie Davis and Rev. Jerry Tooley the officiating clergy. Interment in Round Top Cemetery, 705 Roundtop RD, Elizabethtown, KY. Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 20009 from 4pm to 8pmET. and on Friday, October 30, 2009.



She was a native of Biloxi, MS and attended Round Top Baptist Church

She worked at Hardin Memorial Hospital for 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thelbert and MyrtleJessee and Davis Beard all of Columbia, KY.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her mother: Lottie Beard of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Her father and step mother: Larry and Frances Beard of Elizabethtown, KY

  • One sister: Gretchen Knight and husband Trevor of Elizabethtown, KY

  • One brother: Rusty Beard and wife Laura Beard of Lawrenceburg, KY

  • one step sister: Kim Hickey and husband Todd of Greenville, NC

  • Her grandmother, Emma Bardin Childress and husband Rex of Cave City, KY

  • Her nieces and nephews: Stuart Knight of Elizabethtown, KYDakota Beard of Lawrenceburg, Ky. and Shelby and Jacob Hickey ofGreenville, NC
