Obituary: Carolyn Sapp (1941-2009) Taylor Co., KY

She was a member of the Elk Horn Baptist Church and was a noted bookkeeper in Campbellsville for many years. She was a member of the Emmaus Community

Funeral services will be at 1pmET/NoonCT, Friday, October 16, 2009, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville by Rev. Brian Rafferty and Rev. Haywood Riner. Visitation will be after 5:00pmET., Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY.

Pallbearers are Gary Bowen, Greg Bowen, Randy Bowen, Wendell Bowen, Bradley Sapp, Steve Sapp, Dale Witham, and David Witham.



Carolyn Sapp (1941 - 2009)

Carolyn Sapp of Campbellsville, daughter of Oliver Wise and Myrtle Phillips Wise, was born March 20, 1941, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2009, in Campbellsville. Age: 68She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Elk Horn Baptist Church.

She was a member of the Emmaus Community.

She was a noted bookkeeper in Campbellsville for many years.

She united in marriage to Manuel Sapp January 31, 1959.

Besides her husband, Manuel Sapp of Campbellsville, she is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter and their spouses: Stacey and Jerry Arnett of Greensburg, KY, and Dwight and Kim Sapp of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Ben Thompson and Clarice Gregory and Angela Waldrep and husband, Blair of Campbellsville, KY and, Ashley Williamson and husband, Junior of Liberty, KY and Kaley Sapp of Elizabethtown; five great-grandchildren: Riley Thompson, Zachary Smith, Zander Smith, Brooklyn Williamson and Jaxon Thompson; one half-brother, James Wolford Stephens of Brownsburg, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
