Swine flu update: Taylor Co., KY has 24 cases since Aug. 1, 2009 Kentucky Health Alert has a story dated Wednesday, October 14, 2009, which reported the 6th Swine Flu death in Kentucky, and Scott County's second. So far, Adair County has been spared a heavy outbreak of swine flu, but health care providers, school officials, and others are cautious and working to keep an outbreak from happening by taking extra precautions on cleanliness, and by making an extra effort to get everyone vaccinated. According to data from the Centers from Disease Control, neighboring Taylor Co., has not been so lucky. 24 cases have been reported there. The following is a list of confirmed swine flu cases since August 1, 2009 in the Seven-County Area.
