The funeral service for Billy Houston Taylor, 68, 239 Orbin Branham Road,, Breeding, KY, will be Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 1:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Kerry Yates the officiating clergy. Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1266 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4:00pmCT, Monday, September 21, 2009, at the funeral home.



Billy Houston Taylor, 68, Breeding, KY. (August 20, 1941 - September 19, 2009)

Billy Houston Taylor was born August 20, 1941, the son of the late Houston and Laura Gray Taylor of Breeding and died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at his home, at the age of 68 years and 30 days.

Besides his parents, he was preceded by a brother, Mitchell Taylor, in 1984.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three brothers: Gary Taylor, Breeding, KY; Don Taylor and wife Stacy, Columbia, KY; Steve Taylor and wife Debbie, Breeding, KY

  • Nine sisters: Peggy Jessee and husband Wayne, Louisville, KY; Bonnie Janes and husband J.D., Columbia, KY; Gayle Fudge and husband Larry, Breeding, KY; Carol Rogers and husband Wayne, Columbia, KY; Jennie Pennington and husband David, Breeding, KY; Kathy Norris and husband Kevin, Columbia, KY; Janet McInteer and husband Joe, Keltner, KY; Carmella Harvey of Columbia, KY; Pam Flowers and husband Wayne of Edmonton, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and a special family friend, Debbie Giles
Billy attended the United House of Prayer.
