Word received of the passing of Alfred Flowers, 87 Columbia, KY Word has reached us of the death of longtime, now retired Columbia businessman and former Ford Motor dealer, Alfred Flowers, age 87 years, of 719 Greenburg Street, Columbia, KY. Mr. Flowers a member of a prominent, old line Adair County. Mr. Flowers passed away Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 12 noon at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY after several months illness. He is survived by three sons: Jimmy Flowers, Robert Flowers, and Joseph Flowers all of Columbia, KY.
