Obituary: Barbara Taylor, Adair County, KY

She was a member of a respected Adair County family. Ms. Taylor attended Old Concord United Methodist Church and was a homemaker

Barbara Taylor, age 73 years of Columbia, Ky. passed away Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009 at 4:10pmCT at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, Bowling Green, KY.

The funeral service for Barbara Taylor will be Sunday, August 16, 2009, at 1:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Sam Burris and Rev. William R. Davenport officiating. Interment will be in the Moore Cemetery, 225 Prices Creek Road, in Adair County, KY. Visitation will be after 9:30amCT, Sunday August 16, at the funeral home.



Barbara Taylor (January 17, 1936 - August 13, 2009)

She was born January 17, 1936, the daughter of the late Hallie and Diena Akin Coomer of Adair County. She passed away, Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009 at 4:10pmCT at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, Bowling Green, KY, making the days of her life here 73 years, 7 months and 12 days. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Taylor of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Vickie Dulin & husband Kenneth of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Stacey Schlinder and Tabitha Taylor

  • Three great Grandchildren: Kasey Bailey, Kassi Bailey, Dawson Schlinder

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Goldie Janes and Phyllis Enis.

She attended the Old Concord United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
