Obituary: McKinney (Wormey) Powell, 74 COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM OBITUARIES Mr. Powell was a member of a respected Adair County family, a farmer, and was well known in Adair and Russell County as a heavy equipment operator McKinney "Wormey" Powell, 74, 1281 Powell Road, Columbia, KY, (the Ozark Community) passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at 4:10pmCT, at the Summit Manor Health & Rehab Center in Columbia after several months illness. The funeral service Sunday, September 28, 2008, at 1:00pmCT at Stotts-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Carlie Riggs, with interment to follow in the Columbia Cemetery. He was born June 4, 1934, the son of the late Walker and Dimple Cheatham Powell of Adair County, KY. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Triplett Powell, Columbia, KY, and the following:
