Obituary: Ralph Junior

Mr. Cundiff was retired from Arvin Industries in Columbus, IN. He will be accorded military honors by Columbia VFW Post 6097

Ralph Junior "Bill" Cundiff, 78, 2258 Carrie Bolin Drive, Columbia, KY, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 at 10:30am CT at his home after a long illness.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at 2:30pm CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funera Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. The officiating clergy will be Bro. Troy Long and Larry Bottoms.

He was born April 27, 1928, the son of the late Robert and Lallie Franklin Cundiff of Adair County, KY

He is survived by his wife: Zella B. Rich Cundiff of Columbia, KY, and by the following:
  • Three sons: Ralph B. Cundiff, Edinburg, IN; Travis Cundiff, Hope, IN; and Dallas Cundiff, Indianapolis, IN

  • Three daughters: Betty Boswell Durham, Seymour, IN; Linda Cundiff, LaFayette, IN; Ava Cundiff, Columbus, IN

  • Three brothers: Robert Cundiff, North Vernon, IN; Woody Cundiff, Louisville, KY; Joe Cundiff, Scottsville, KY

  • One sister: Ruby Chelf, Columbia, KY
Mr. Cundiff was a US Army Korean War veteran and was retired from Arvin Industries inFranklin, IN.

Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 6097.

The family request visitation after 12 noon on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
