Obituary: Edith May Goodin Adams, 51

Mrs. Adams was a member of a large northern Adair County family. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church in St. Petersburg, FL

Edith May "Edie" Goodin Adams, 51, 6120 Elkhorn Road, Knifley, KY, formerly of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away suddenly Thursday, April 19, 2007, at 9:15pm from injuries received in a truck accident near Knifley, KY.

The family will receive friends from 9:00am until 12 noon on Monday, April 23, 2007, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.

She was born February 20, 1956, the daughter of the late James William Goodin. She is survived by her mother, Rose Redford Goodin, Knifley, KY, and the following:'
  • One son and daughter-in-law: Daniel R. Lambo, Jr., and wife Melody of Girdler, KY

  • On brother: Darrell Goodin, St. Petersburg, FL

  • One sister: Myrna Gail Stahler, Camden, MI

  • Three grandchildren: Lucas Daniel Lambo, Logan Douglas Lambo, and Joseph Daniel Monastra

  • One aunt: Reba Sue Hadley, Knifley, KY

  • And by serveral nieces, nephews, and friends
She was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church in St. Petersburg, FL, and a homemaker.

There will be no funeral service.

The family has chosen cremation.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
