Carlos Russell Ballou, 80, World War II veteran Mr. Ballou was a member of a prominent, respected Adair County family. He was a farmer, a member of the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, and had served in World War II Carlos Russell Ballou, 80, a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home Columbia, Ky. passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007, at 12:30am CT at the nursing home. The funeral service will be Monday, April 16, 2007 at 1:00pm CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Scott Ezell the officiating clergy. He was born March 15, 1927, the son of the late William Murray and Mattie Florence Garrison Ballou. Survived by his wife, Wynema Wanda Stephens Ballou, Columbia, KY, and he following:
Mr. Ballou attended the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War II. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 4:30pm, Sunday, April 15, 2007, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
