Obituary: Cymbylene Gowen, 79, member Antioch UMC Mrs. Gowen was a retired factory worker and the head of a highly respected Adair County family Cymbylene Gowen, 79, 9135 Burkesville Road, Columbia, KY, the Sparksville Community, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2007, at 2:05am CT, at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY, after an illness. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 24, 2007, at 2:00pm CT, at Antioch United Methodist Church, near Sparksville, KY, with Rev. Ronnie Dooley and Bro. Lonny Karnes the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery. The family requests visitation at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, after 4:30pm, Friday, March 23, 2007. She was born April 1, 1927, the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Mackie Coomer Brown and the widow of Herbert Gowen, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1992. She is survived by the following:
