Obituary: Flossie Beard, 74, member Bethany Baptist Church Mrs. Beard was the matriarch of a respected Milltown family Flossie Beard, 74, 124 Milltown Road, Columbia, KY(Milltown Community), passed away suddenly Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 2:20am CT, at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room in Columbia, KY. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 16, 2006, at 1:00pm CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, with Rev. Allan Durrett and Rev. Clifton Rodgers officiating. She was the daughter of the late Otis and Eva Franklin Rodgers of Adair County, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Lewis "Buster" Beard, on May 3, 1994.Mrs. Beard is survived by the following:
Mrs. Beard was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and a homemaker. Interment in the Tarters Chapel Cemetery, Milltown, KY. The family requests visiting after 3:00pm CT on Friday, December 15, 2006, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
