Obituary: David Arnold, 85, long-time member, Plum Point Baptist

A resident of Campbellsville, KY, at the time of his death, he was the son of the late Oscar and Ora Mae Corbin Arnold of Adair County, KY

David Arnold, 85, 2384 Wise RD, Campbellsville, KY, died Sunday, November 19, 2006, at 4:25am, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. John Bratcher and Bro. Lewis Haynes will officiate.



A native of Adair County, KY, he was a son of the late Oscar and Ora Mae Corbin Arnold. He was a long time member of the Plum Point Baptist Church, and at the time of his death, a member of the Acton Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Eva Overstreet Arnold, Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • One brother: Edwin "Ebb" Arnold, Casey Creek, KY

  • His sisters: Lorena Christie, Chattanooga, TN; Beulah Arnold, Campbellsville, KY; Edna Yarberry, Columbia, KY; Nina Schmucker, Marengo, IN; Yneth Broughton, Ashland, KY; and Justine Knifley, Campbellsville, KY

  • And several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be after 3:00pm CT, Monday, November 20, 2006, at Grissom Funeral Home, Columbia, KY.

Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
