Obituary: Stacie Lea Gebler

A grieving mother wrote to us asking that her daughter's obituary be included in our listings "because she was an Adair County native from the Knifley community."



Stacie Lea Gebler, age 23, died Monday, April 12, 2004 as a result of an automobile accident.

Ms. Gebler is survived by:

Her parents, Johnny Fowler, Sr. of Florida, Regina and Marvin Overby of Knifley

One son, Cory Fowler

One daughter, Hailey Gebler

One brother, Johnny Fowler, Jr. of Columbia

Three sisters Angelia Jones, Renita Gonzales, and Regina Howell all of Florida

Several other relatives and a host of friends also survives.

Funeral services for Ms. Stacie Lee Gebler were conducted on April 15, 2004 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Robinson Chapel Cemetery.

Brother Darrell Ford officiated. Pallbearers were John Walker, Shane Stapleton, Troy Key, James Walker, Maurice "Bubba" Stapleton and Adam Milby.

The photos above show 23-year-old Stacie Lea Gebler of Knifley who was killed in an automobile accident on April 12, 2004, at left.
